xxxHOLiC

I guess since the updates have been abandoned by Nola (Glare!) I will have to pick them up until she (Glare and point finger!) wants to continue with events, recommendations, and news.

Today I will be reviewing xxxHOLiC which is a manga and anime series created by CLAMP. This series is about Watanuki Kimihiro and his life working as a worker in a shop that inexplicably lures those who want their wishes granted. Unfortunately the wishes you so desperately want to fulfill come with a price. After all it is a shop, isn't it? The owner, Yuko Ichihara, along with her servants, Maro and Moro, maintain the shop until someone enters through the doors. When a wish is made the payment must be something of equal value. It could be something material or immaterial depending on the transaction. The world of xxxHOLiC also meshes with other worlds in CLAMP'S arsenal. The worlds are Cardcaptor Sakura, Tsubasa: Resevoir Chronicle, Legal Drug, Chobits and many others. "Clamp has stated that Tsubasa and xxxHOLiC are meant to tie all of their works together, yet still stand alone as their own stories." I recommend this series to anyone who enjoy anime with supernatural events and occasional hints of anime crossovers.
